We chose our campsite at Happy Camper on Friday evening.
Our site is #9 and it is in a nice area, semi-circular, with trees around it. We really fell in love with it the minute we saw it.
There is a ball diamond just behind us and a row of campsites for short-term use, which we think will be nice if our kids (or anyone else) would like to come visit and stay awhile. There is also a playground nearby and lots of trees and grounds to explore. We are starting to get very excited about this. Our trailer will be probably be delivered the long weekend in May or thereabouts. Dale still hasn't heard when his shoulder surgery will be, so our plans are really sort of "up in the air" at this time. We have gotten some great finds on Kijiji, Used Regina and Varagesale, including a free bbq that works really well, a lawn mower, 4 lawn chairs, a patio table and two chairs and two nice reclining zero gravity chairs. So we have lots of seating!
Dale has also gotten some great finds in kitchen stuff from the "free" table at work and I have gotten a few things at Value Village and Salvation Army.
As we were leaving, we saw two more deer feeding in a field. We are hoping this bodes well and that we'll see lots of wild life as we relax at our trailer!!
I'll be back as soon as more is happening!
